Warhol: Academy

An initiative of the Pop District, The Warhol Academy is a dynamic ecosystem of youth and adult workforce development programs that prepare students for careers in creative and technology fields. Through cohort-based learning, mentorship, and real-world experiences, The Warhol Academy connects people with creative and tech economies — empowering them to thrive as professionals, business owners, and change-makers.

The Pop District’s workforce programming cultivates the talent to produce award-winning work that amplifies the region’s presence as a creative force across sectors nationwide, creating new job opportunities in the local economy and promoting regional talent retention. With training from The Pop District, students can compete for and sustain an interest-aligned career that increases their economic well-being. These outcomes have significant impact on the Pittsburgh region, and The Pop District seeks to provide individuals from historically underrepresented communities access to opportunities and resources so they may fully participate and thrive within the growing creative ecosystem.
